Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Software Development Engineer to lead the design and implementation of complex data engineering projects. This role requires experience with Big Data and Cloud Architecture, as well as hands-on experience building high-volume data pipelines using ETL/ELT tools.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data engineering concepts, including query optimization, data structures, transformation, metadata, dependency, and workload management. Additionally, experience with Python (or a comparable scripting language) and SQL/NoSQL databases is required.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience with Big Data and Cloud Architecture
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience building modern data pipelines within a major cloud platform (GCP, AWS, Azure)
  • Experience with ETL/ELT tools and high-volume data pipelines
  • Strong understanding of data engineering concepts, including query optimization, data structures, transformation, metadata, dependency, and workload management
  • Experience with Python (or a comparable scripting language) and SQL/NoSQL databases

Salary: The estimated salary range for this role is $130,295 - $284,280 per year, depending on qualifications and location.
