The Senior Identity Access Manager Engineer Role

Fannie Mae is a leading provider of mortgage financing, and we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Identity Access Manager Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Identity and Access Management team, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing secure access management solutions for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine customer needs and create solution frameworks to meet those needs.
  • Design and develop moderately complex technical solutions to ensure secure access to our systems and data.
  • Use a process-driven approach to design solutions that meet our high standards for security and compliance.
  • Maintain or oversee the maintenance of existing technical solutions to ensure they remain secure and effective.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in service management concepts, including ITIL practices and SDLC and Agile Methodology standards. You should also have expertise in Privileged Access Management tools, such as Cyberark or Hashicorp Vault, and experience with Python, REST API, and developing plugins for Cyberark. Additionally, you should have experience with DevOps processes and cloud technologies, including Amazon Web Services (AWS).

You will also need to have excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Finally, you should have a strong understanding of risk assessment and management principles, including evaluating and designing controls, conducting impact assessments, and identifying control gaps.
