Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and manage personnel assigned to their shift, ensuring effective communication and performance monitoring
  • Ensure achievement of safety, quality, production, productivity, and housekeeping goals for the department
  • Develop and maintain supportive working relationships with internal departments and suppliers
  • Assist in the development and implementation of written guidelines to ensure product quality requirements
  • Embrace continuous improvement and participate in the identification and implementation of improvement opportunities
Requirements
  • Previous manufacturing supervision experience or extensive knowledge of finishing operations
  • Knowledge of flexographic/web handling and converting processes, including printing, lamination, and slitting
  • Strong PC skills, including experience with MS Office Suite
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with strong presentation skills
  • Ability to define and solve problems with multiple variables and limited information
