STEM Enrichment Educator

The Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy (CHCA) is seeking a dedicated STEM Enrichment Educator to create innovative, hands-on learning experiences in both indoor and outdoor environments, focusing on Science topics for early learners.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in regular collaboration with grade-level educators to align on curriculum.
  • Design and implement lessons that enhance and expand upon classroom topics, emphasizing STEM initiatives, Project-Based Learning, and interactive activities.
  • Utilize student performance data to continuously improve the educational curriculum.
  • Employ diverse instructional strategies to captivate and involve all students.
  • Provide constructive feedback to both students and fellow educators.
  • Integrate faith-based principles into the learning process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Science or a related discipline.
  • Valid teaching license from the Ohio Department of Education.
  • Strong Christian faith and values.
  • In-depth understanding of research-based methodologies in STEM and Project-Based Learning, with the ability to apply these in CHCA's learning environments.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and empathy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Word and Excel.
  • Experience working with children aged 2 to 10 years.
  • Effective classroom management capabilities.
  • Outstanding teamwork and collaboration skills.
