Job Description:

Mecalux is a leading company in the world market for storage systems, with over 50 years of experience and a staff of more than 3,900 professionals. Our activity consists of designing, manufacturing, marketing, and offering services related to pallet racking and shelving, automated warehouses, warehouse management software, and intralogistics solutions in general.

We are looking for a talented professional who wishes to join a dynamic company in continuous expansion and develop their career in the logistics sector, one of the most innovative in the current business market. The selected person will join a stable and continuous position, working with highly qualified professionals, where they can carry out the development and implementation of large projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Business development: generating leads for warehouse solutions, converting them into quotes, and ultimately into orders.
  • Technical advice and quote development within the area.
  • Customer service: ensuring last-longing customer relationships.
  • Handling contracts and lead communication between customers and our technical and assembly teams.
  • Developing weekly and monthly sales plans with sales forecasts.
  • End-to-end responsibility for projects, from lead to order and final handover of projects.
  • Ensuring project completion through coordination with Engineering, Logistics, Installation, and Administrative departments.
Requirements:
  • Hard-working, proactive, motivated by success, and a desire to progress their career.
  • Demonstrated effective communication, presentation, and listening skills.
  • A desire to learn and advance in a fast-paced sales environment, and be capable of regularly using good judgment and discretion to accomplish goals and work requirements.
  • A technical background or Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, marketing, or equivalent education and 2-5 years of sales experience.
  • A background of selling into the Warehousing/Logistics Industry is desirable.
  • A proven track record in improving sales performance.
  • Software: CAD or similar, Excel, Words, PowerPoint.
