Cage Shift Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cage Shift Supervisor to join our team at St. Jo Frontier Casino. As a key member of our Cage Department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Cage, ensuring compliance with Federal and State Regulations, and providing exceptional customer service to our guests.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and direct Cage employees on a given shift, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Verify previous bank count sheets, count down at the end of the shift, and reconcile to imprest.
- Conduct transactions with other departments, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Ensure compliance with Federal and State Regulations, maintaining a high level of integrity and accuracy in all Cage operations.
- Administer and enforce internal cash control procedures, investigating all variances incurred during shifts and preparing required reports.
- Provide new hire training, ensuring that all employees are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Handle customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
- Interact effectively and professionally with the public and co-workers, maintaining a positive and respectful attitude at all times.
- Ensure department uniform, appearance, and grooming standards are followed and maintained.
- Meet attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, department, and company policies.
- Keep the work area clean and free of safety hazards, debris, and litter.
- Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
As a Cage Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for directing and supervising Cage employees on a given shift. This includes planning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining team members, and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Casino cashiering experience is required.
- Must have a broad knowledge of Cashier Cage regulations and procedures with strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
