Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of 4-6 subordinates and delegate work functions
  • Assign work activities prior to shift and lead team members
  • Provide training to new employees and plan work shifts for timely completion of maintenance activities
  • Inspect maintenance processes and evaluate subordinate work
  • Maintain proper shift cycles and coordinate work processes with internal departments
  • Comply with plant policies and OSHA regulations
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 2-3 years of experience in a meat processing facility
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret documents in English
  • Mathematical skills and ability to apply mathematical applications to practical situations
  • Reasoning ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions
Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with regular exposure to cold/hot and humid conditions, strong odors, and the sight of blood. The noise level can be moderate to loud in the production area.
