A Senior Analyst is sought to provide support to the Headquarters Department of the Army, G-8, focusing on Force Development Joint Requirements and Assessments.

The Senior Analyst will be responsible for conducting evaluations, assessments, and providing strategic recommendations to facilitate the validation and endorsement of prospective material requirements. This includes the validation of Army Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) documents by the Army Requirements Oversight Council (AROC).


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver methodologies, strategic plans, and policy suggestions derived from comprehensive studies and analyses related to the development of warfighting capability requirements, force modernization, rapid acquisition/rapid equipping, Army studies and analyses, Army experimentation, test and evaluation, and advancements in science and technology.
  • Conduct evaluations and provide recommendations concerning the establishment of Army policies and procedures that govern the development of Army requirements and operational capabilities, including the Army's implementation of JCIDS through the Army Materiel Requirements and the AROC process.
  • Analyze and formulate recommendations aimed at enhancing or refining the requirements determination process and other related processes that influence the delivery of material capabilities, ensuring the synchronization and integration of current competing requirements, including the TRADOC Capability Needs Analysis (CNA).

EDUCATION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

A Bachelor's degree in Business or Public Administration, Management, Economics, Mathematics, Science, Engineering, History, or English is required. A Master's degree in one of these fields will be accepted if the Bachelor's degree does not meet the criteria. Candidates must possess a minimum of eight (8) years of experience and expertise in Force Development responsibilities.

Experience may be gained at various levels within Army organizations; however, candidates must have experience at the most senior levels of the Army, such as HQDA, MACOMs, or Army Service Component Commands.

Proficiency with JCIDS and the Army Requirements process is essential.
