Job Summary

As a Kitchen Sanitation Specialist, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of sanitation within our kitchen facilities. Your responsibilities will encompass ensuring a clean and organized work environment, adhering to strict food safety protocols, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our culinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain impeccable cleanliness throughout all kitchen areas, including dishwashing stations, prep areas, storage rooms, and garbage disposal zones.
  • Thoroughly wash and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and small wares according to established procedures and regulations.
  • Collect and dispose of trash responsibly, ensuring proper sanitation practices are followed at all times.
  • Inspect kitchen floors regularly for debris and maintain a clean, dry, and safe working surface.
  • Adhere to strict food safety guidelines and protocols to prevent contamination and ensure the well-being of our patrons.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages promptly.
  • Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a similar sanitation role within a food service environment is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
