Job Summary

As a Dishroom Attendant at Heritage Club, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen dish area and other Food and Beverage kitchen prep areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Wash and properly store all cooking utensils, china equipment, flatware, and glassware.
  • Ensure the kitchen area is kept clean and tidy at all times to prevent health or safety hazards.
  • Report all accidents, illnesses, or near-miss incidents immediately to the manager on duty or supervisor.
  • Collect trash from kitchen areas, empty garbage cans, and wash and re-line with new bags.
  • Examine garbage for misplaced silverware, dishes, glassware, and other reusable items.
  • Clean and sanitize receiving, trash, and other kitchen-related areas.
  • Sweep and mop kitchen floors.
  • Store all dishes and other wares in proper areas.
  • Clean the dish machine and dish area according to the established schedule.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management, such as assisting in food preparation, storing foods after delivery, and cleaning coolers, freezers, and storerooms.
  • Handle all china and glassware carefully to minimize breakage.
  • Continuously inspect floors in kitchen areas to ensure they remain clean, dry, and clear of debris.
  • Assist in completing the weekly kitchen cleaning and maintenance list.
  • Clean and safely store all brooms, mops, and other cleaning equipment in proper places.
  • Use all chemical cleaning supplies in a safe and careful manner.
  • Help food servers by prioritizing the washing of specified service items.
  • Understand and consistently follow proper sanitation practices, including those for personal hygiene.
