Job Summary

As a Dishroom Attendant at Heritage Club, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen areas. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Ensure that all kitchen areas, including the dishroom, are kept clean and sanitized at all times. This includes washing and storing dishes, utensils, and equipment, as well as sweeping and mopping floors.
  • Waste Management: Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables in a responsible and efficient manner. This includes emptying garbage cans, washing and re-lining them with new bags, and breaking down boxes and crates.
  • Inspecting and Maintaining Equipment: Regularly inspect and maintain all kitchen equipment, including dishwashers, dish machines, and cleaning supplies.
  • Assisting with Food Preparation: Assist food preparation staff as needed, including storing food after delivery and cleaning coolers, freezers, and storerooms.
  • Handling China and Glassware: Handle all china and glassware carefully to minimize breakage and ensure that they are properly stored and cleaned.
  • Inspecting Floors: Continuously inspect floors in kitchen areas to ensure they remain clean, dry, and clear of debris.
  • Completing Weekly Cleaning and Maintenance List: Assist in completing the weekly kitchen cleaning and maintenance list, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
  • Attention to Detail: The ability to pay close attention to detail and maintain a high level of cleanliness and sanitation is essential for this role.
  • Strong Work Ethic: A strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment are necessary for success in this position.
