Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team at NP 5th LLC. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, as well as providing exceptional customer service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Process guest check-outs and settle accounts
  • Provide information and assistance to guests, including directions and restaurant hours
  • Balance and reconcile all Front Office postings and settlements
  • Update daily checklist and guest history
  • Balance all credit cards, direct bills, and miscellaneous charges from all shifts
  • Closely monitor and balance all room charges from outlets
  • Start close-out process; print and distribute Night Audit Report Packets
  • Provide exceptional customer service by exceeding guest expectations
  • Take ownership of all guest complaints and rectify the complaints quickly and efficiently
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience in a hotel or related field
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles
  • Proficient in Windows, Excel, Email, and Word
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Capable of handling high-pressure situations and maintaining composure
  • Flexible rotating schedule and ability to attend mandatory meetings
Work Environment

Professional work environment requiring professional or uniform dress; high level of verbal and written communication required with both internal and external customers.

Physical Demands

Frequent use requiring close vision, repetitive motion; bending; frequent standing, walking, reaching, occasional lifting up to 10 lbs.
