Family Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Nexus HR Services in Los Angeles, CA.
About the JobThe ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality patient care and a strong commitment to health and illness prevention.
Responsibilities- Contribute to the effectiveness of our healthcare team by identifying patient care issues and providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations.
- Assess patient health by interviewing patients, performing physical examinations, and obtaining and updating medical histories.
- Determine abnormal conditions by administering or ordering diagnostic tests and interpreting test results.
- Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
- Perform therapeutic procedures by administering injections and immunizations, suturing, and managing wounds and infections.
- Instruct and counsel patients by describing therapeutic regimens and promoting wellness and health maintenance.
- Provide continuity of care by developing and implementing patient management plans.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
- Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements by studying existing and new legislation.
- At least one year of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
- Licensed in California as an NP or FNP.
- Unrestricted DEA license.
- Able to work at least one weekend per month.
- Able to work in Los Angeles, CA.
- Experience with EMR and EHR platforms preferred.
- Experience and/or certification in Medical Spanish is preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly preferred.
