Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Clinical Support Specialist to join our team at ProMed Staffing Resources. As a Clinical Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office, providing exceptional patient care, and supporting our healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Registration and Processing: Register and process all patients entering the facility for care, ensuring accurate and timely completion of necessary paperwork.
  • Vital Sign Collection: Collect and record patients' vital signs during the triage function, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Lab Specimen Collection: Collect laboratory specimens as ordered by medical providers, ensuring proper handling and storage.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule patients for annual physicals, semi-annuals, and lab recalls, as well as referrals and follow-up calls.
  • Result Management: Obtain results for the Laboratory Information System and submit them with patients' charts to the appropriate parties.
  • Billing and Insurance: Ensure proper billing is conducted or applied to abnormal laboratory, referrals, or diagnostic results.
  • Communication and Customer Service: Direct incoming telephone calls to appropriate parties, take messages when necessary, and provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
  • Previous Experience in a Medical Office Setting: Preferred.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Essential.
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Required.
