Overview:
If you are looking to advance your career in the field of diagnostic testing and drug development, this role is an excellent opportunity. Astrix Technology is a prominent healthcare organization dedicated to providing innovative diagnostic and drug development solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess the suitability of specimens for analysis based on established guidelines.
- Conduct both routine and advanced technical procedures in accordance with departmental Standard Operating Procedures.
- Oversee, operate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments to ensure optimal performance.
- Exhibit the capability to make informed technical decisions related to testing and problem resolution.
- Prepare, evaluate, and test new reagents or controls, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of test results to support quality patient care.
- Execute and document preventive maintenance and quality control protocols. Ensure adequate supply levels at testing stations.
- Assist in specimen processing as required.
- Maintain a safe laboratory environment and utilize appropriate personal protective equipment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or compliance with local regulatory requirements.
- A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in clinical laboratory testing is essential.
- Experience in Blood Banking is mandatory.
- Certification from ASCP or AMT is required.
