Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Technologist to work in our fast-paced laboratory environment. As a Medical Technologist, you will be responsible for performing automated and manual testing, instrument maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures
  • Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality
  • Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria
  • Prepare, test, and evaluate new reagents or controls
  • Report accurate and timely test results in order to deliver quality patient care
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a life science or laboratory science/Medical Technology
  • 1 year of Previous experience in a clinical laboratory
  • Must be ASCP certified as a Medical Technologist or equivalent
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Proficient with computers; familiarity with laboratory information systems are a plus
