Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at CHI Lakewood Health Center. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT scans, X-rays, and Dexas.

Responsibilities
  • Imaging Procedures: Perform CT scans, X-rays, and Dexas, ensuring high-quality images and accurate diagnoses.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including X-ray machines and CT scanners.
  • Patient Care: Provide excellent patient care, ensuring comfort and safety during imaging procedures.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care.
  • Quality Control: Participate in quality control measures to ensure accurate diagnoses and high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Certifications: BLS and ARRT certifications required.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in imaging equipment operation.
Work Environment

As a Diagnostic Imaging Technologist at CHI Lakewood Health Center, you will work in a dynamic and supportive environment, collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care. You will be responsible for working variable 8-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays, and will be required to respond to on-call situations within 20 minutes.
