As a Senior Manager of Enterprise Infrastructure for the Site Reliability Center within PNC's Enterprise Technology & Security division, you will be positioned in one of PNC's Technology and Innovation hub locations.
Key Responsibilities:As a leader in the Site Reliability Center (SRC), you will ensure strong alignment between development and operations to drive continuous enhancement in our operational environment. The SRC supports a 24x7 operational model that integrates all infrastructure and application teams with a primary focus on:
- Identifying and permanently resolving incidents through effective Event Management
- Implementing automation solutions
- Enhancing stability post-release
- Driving efficiencies and performance improvements
- Facilitating change and release management
- Managing capacity effectively
- Engineering reliability into the infrastructure
Essential Skills:
Server Management:
Proficient in administration and troubleshooting across Linux and Windows environments, including patching and basic scripting (PowerShell, Bash).
Converged Solutions:
Experience with VCE/UCP (including VMWare versions 6 and above), platform and network connectivity, and patching, alongside a solid understanding of current threat analysis and remediation trends.
Storage Management:
Knowledge of CIFS/NFS, Linux and Windows scripting, DPA reporting, Avamar, and Data Domain administration.
Database Management:
Familiarity with Oracle and SQL.
Middleware Technologies:
Experience with Linux, Windows, WebSphere, Apache, IIS, WebLogic, and Tomcat.
Mainframe Technologies:
Knowledge of JCL, CICS, and SYSPLEX.
Networking:
Strong understanding of network protocols and the OSI Model, along with Network+ Certification.
Knowledge Management:
Experience with ITSM and operations analytics methodologies to drive performance improvement (e.g., Lean).
Job Description:
Responsible for delivering products and services that align with business needs and objectives. Oversee multiple teams or departments within the Enterprise Infrastructure function. Lead infrastructure planning, development strategies, and product lifecycle management; assess current and future enterprise infrastructure requirements. Manage portfolio, program, and project management responsibilities while directing financial and risk management capabilities.
Ensure a stable and secure environment through effective incident management, product health monitoring, patching, and asset management lifecycle. Engage with vendors, suppliers, and executive management to guarantee the availability of infrastructure technologies and support.

Qualifications:
Successful candidates must demonstrate the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this role. Preferred qualifications include:

Work Experience:
Typically requires a university/college degree. Higher education such as a Master's degree, PhD, or relevant certifications is desirable. Industry-relevant experience typically spans 8+ years, with at least 5 years in a management capacity. Proven leadership experience with moderate to large scope of responsibility is essential.

Bachelor's degree required.
