Job Summary

Kettering Health is seeking a skilled Cook to join our culinary team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food to patients, employees, and guests.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook food according to established recipes and production sheets.
  • Manage food inventory and supplies.
  • Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of one year of cooking experience required.
  • Ability to read and write English and follow oral and written directions.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and follow kitchen protocols.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience cooking from scratch and/or a la carte restaurant experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety procedures.
