Your role may encompass various aspects such as air quality management, environmental evaluations, remediation efforts, compliance, and permitting processes. Your Responsibilities:

  • Assist Engineering Teams in promoting environmental stewardship for businesses.
  • Prepare environmental compliance documentation, including Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans and Spill Control Plans to safeguard our waterways.
  • Develop permit applications for activities impacting Waters of the United States.
  • Participate in public meetings and hearings.
  • Create environmental assessments to ensure NEPA compliance.
  • Interpret state and federal regulations to determine permitting requirements for diverse projects nationwide.
  • Identify innovative strategies to achieve regulatory compliance through alternative construction methods or emission control technologies.
  • Conduct site visits to manufacturing and industrial facilities to observe operations.
  • Formulate solutions to address clients' environmental challenges.
  • Maintain consistent communication and collaboration with team members.
  • Manage budgets, client relationships, staff direction, and prepare cost estimates.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to excellence and teamwork.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in environmental science.
  • Willingness to travel for team meetings, client consultations, and site visits.
  • Ability to navigate rough terrain and lift up to 40 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ten to fifteen years of experience in the field.
  • Experience with industrial development projects, including environmental regulations, permitting, monitoring, and construction processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Compensation: Base salary is expected to range from $90,000 to $114,000, depending on skills and experience. For more details, please refer to our comprehensive benefits package.
