About the Role

In this role as a Global Benefits Associate Consultant at Lockton Global Benefits, you will work closely with multinational corporations to provide expert guidance on their global benefits strategies. This includes retirement benefits, insured employee benefits, and total rewards strategies. As a key member of our global benefits team, you will provide administrative, technical, and research support to help our clients achieve their goals.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their strategic business objectives and provide tailored benefits solutions.
  • Support consultants in providing client services, including administrative, technical, and research support, to ensure seamless delivery of global benefits solutions.
  • Evaluate client needs and develop compliant and cost-effective benefits strategies to meet their objectives.
  • Lead client meetings and presentations to communicate benefits solutions and strategies.
  • Collaborate with consultants to develop comprehensive client management strategies and provide best practice guidance to clients.
  • Review and approve client presentations and recommendations to ensure alignment with company standards.
  • Perform research as needed for internal projects, utilizing various internet resources, trade publications, and foreign-language sources.
  • Liaise with local Lockton Global offices and partners to ensure seamless delivery of global benefits solutions.
  • Supervise and mentor Global Benefits Analysts to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality benefits solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field or liberal arts, or equivalent experience in the insurance industry.
  • 3-5 years' experience in the insurance industry, with 3-5 years' global benefits experience preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience in data analysis, financial modeling, and presentation design.
  • Strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency using Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
Preferred Skills/Knowledge
  • Fluency or professional proficiency in a foreign language is helpful.
  • Degree in international studies or business is desired, though not required.
  • Experience working or living abroad is helpful, though not required.
