Job Description

The YMCA of the USA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Executive Officer to lead our Paris-Bourbon County branch. As the CEO, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic plan that addresses the needs of our communities, improving operating performance, and positioning the Y as a vital partner for community change.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan that aligns with the YMCA's mission and vision
  • Improve operating performance by engaging the board and staff to develop an annual tactical plan
  • Position the Y as a vital partner for community change by developing and cultivating relationships with key stakeholders
  • Build and lead a talented team of staff to achieve key objectives
  • Ensure fiscal management by forecasting financial trends, growing earned revenue, and controlling costs
  • Steward fundraising efforts by developing and implementing an annual fundraising plan
Requirements
  • Accredited 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum five years prior experience in a senior management role with a YMCA or related experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and personal values consistent with the YMCA mission
  • Ability to develop and strengthen community relationships
  • Strategic planning and fundraising experience
  • Fiscally sound business management approach
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary range of $75,000 - $105,000 annually
