Job Description

The Paris-Bourbon County YMCA is seeking a visionary leader to serve as its Chief Executive Officer. As the face of the organization, the CEO will be responsible for upholding the highest standards and values of the Y, creating a culture of integrity, and promoting a spirit of inclusiveness and mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan to address the needs of the communities served by the Y
  • Improve operating performance by engaging the board and staff to develop an annual tactical plan
  • Position the Y as a vital partner for community change by developing and cultivating relationships with key stakeholders
  • Build and lead a talented team of staff, ensuring a culture of inclusivity and mission-driven work
  • Foster a culture of fiscal responsibility and stewardship, ensuring the Y's financial sustainability
Requirements
  • Accredited 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum five years prior experience in a senior management role with a YMCA or related experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven track record of community outreach and strategic planning
  • Ability to develop and implement innovative programs, review and enhance existing programs, and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders
  • Fiscal sound business management approach, with a proven record of accomplishment in progressive budgetary leadership and advanced fiscal management practices
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary range of $75,000 - $105,000 annually
  • A defined contribution plan with 12% total contribution
  • A residency expectation of being highly engaged and visible in the community, with a willingness to live within an hour's drive of Paris
