At HKS, we are searching for a seasoned Sr. Interior Designer to lead our Venues Interiors team in delivering exceptional design and project management services to clients. This role requires a certified interior designer with 15+ years of experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to foster effective client relationships.

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a highly experienced Sr. Interior Designer who can lead our team in planning work, developing solutions, and managing client expectations.
  • The successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of client needs, goals, policies, and project missions.
  • They will be responsible for developing interiors concepts based on client vision, architectural concept, and FF&E requirements.
  • The Sr. Interior Designer will utilize creative thinking to achieve innovative solutions, manage project finances, and keep projects on schedule.
  • They will also collaborate with project teams to enhance design, source FF&E, and prepare project documents.

Key Qualifications:

  • Accredited professional degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • NCIDQ certification is required.
  • Experience with the entire project lifecycle, including post-occupancy.
  • Sustainable design accreditation is preferred.
  • Typically 15+ years of experience in interior design and project management.
  • Proficiency in software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, and SketchUp is preferred.

Base Salary Range:

$100K - $130K annually, for Denver, Los Angeles, New York, San Diego, and Seattle locations only.
