Cybersecurity Program Consultant

The Opportunity:

In today's dynamic environment, organizations must effectively adapt and transform. To achieve this, they require insights from external perspectives. Whether establishing a new entity, reshaping an existing one, or navigating transitions such as mergers or separations, our clients seek a change management expert who is committed to understanding the intricacies of their cybersecurity program and offering actionable recommendations for process enhancements, mission success, and best practices.

We are looking for a seasoned cybersecurity program consultant who can evaluate every facet of our client's operations and leverage your specialized expertise to provide a strategic roadmap for their desired organizational evolution.

As a cybersecurity program consultant on our team, you will construct a comprehensive overview of your client's current framework, daily operations, and results in ways they may not have previously considered. Through collaborative discussions and workshops with stakeholders and subject matter experts in cybersecurity and intelligence, you will pinpoint the most effective elements within their environment and identify opportunities for improvement. Once you have a complete understanding of the organization's potential for enhancement, you will articulate a clear path forward along with the anticipated outcomes to your client.

This role offers a unique opportunity to deepen your experience in process and data analysis with a focus on cybersecurity and threat management while enhancing your consulting capabilities.

Join us as we support the evolution of the Department of Defense.

You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience in a professional work environment
  • Expertise in setting goals, establishing organizational priorities, and measuring effectiveness
  • Familiarity with the Department of Defense and its components
  • Understanding of optimization methodologies and their application for process or program improvement recommendations
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely through verbal, written, and visual means to high-level executives, including Admirals and Generals
  • Proven ability to collaborate across multifunctional teams to achieve shared objectives
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience within a cybersecurity organization
  • Background within the DoD at an Office of the Secretary of Defense or Command-level organization
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity, intelligence, and counterintelligence principles, or threat indicators and detection practices
  • Capability to select appropriate data analysis techniques based on the nature, type, and source of data presented
  • Bachelor's degree in an analytical or cybersecurity-related field

Clearance:

Applicants selected will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
