Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team at Navajo Nation Oil & Gas Company. This role will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of payrolls for approximately 100 employees, as well as maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and process bi-weekly payrolls, tracking and deducting all scheduled payroll deductions and special exceptions.
  • Collaborate with HR and other departments to maintain proper employee data flow and audits.
  • Reconcile payroll to the general ledger and monthly bank statements.
  • Prepare and ensure accuracy of year-end payroll requirements, including W-2s.
  • Provide census and payroll reports upon request.
Requirements:
  • Three years of experience in payroll and one year of accounting experience.
  • Fundamentals of Payroll preferred.
  • Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of current computer software applications, including MS 365 and HRIS/Payroll Software.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment.
