Shift Maintenance Technician III

The Production Maintenance Technician serves as a key member of the Maintenance team and the assigned Production team. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation equipment. The successful candidate will work safely and efficiently to maximize long-term machine use and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Perform maintenance work activities safely and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot, repair, replace, align, and maintain industrial machinery, mechanical equipment, electrical equipment, and circuits.
- Maintain and troubleshoot pneumatic systems, control devices, hydraulic equipment, and components.
- Use pipefitting skills to cut, fit, weld, and install piping throughout the facility.
- Perform daily preventative maintenance routes, inspect equipment condition, and report any issues.
- Perform planned maintenance as scheduled.
- Perform repairs and preventative maintenance during routine and extended outages.
- Log and report issues and provide feedback for long-term machine use/efficiency.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs including labor hours and critical preventative maintenance findings.
- Provide input on critical spares based on overall risk.
- Assist in the development and implementation of reliability/precision-centered maintenance strategies.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with operators while troubleshooting equipment.
- Apply problem-solving methods to identify root causes and eliminate failures.
- Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and drawings.
