Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage wheelchair attendants to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
  • Develop and implement procedures to maximize staff efficiency and quality control
  • Monitor and maintain a safe working environment, adhering to airport policies, airline procedures, and FAA regulations
  • Communicate effectively with station management, customer carriers, and staff to ensure seamless operations
  • Provide coaching, counseling, and corrective action to hourly employees as needed
  • Ensure compliance with Air Carrier Access Act, airport policies, and U.S. Customs procedures
  • Collaborate with staff to resolve passenger issues and concerns
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including wheelchair and incident reports
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in airport operations, customer service, or a related field
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Physical ability to lift 75 pounds, push wheelchairs, and stand for long periods
  • Ability to work in a team environment, promoting a positive and inclusive work culture
Working Conditions

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with exposure to moderate to high noise levels, hot and cold temperatures, and inclement weather. The physical demands of the job require standing, walking, and lifting, with occasional bending, stretching, and reaching.
