Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Utilization Review Coordinator to join our team at Sunrise Vista, a premier SUD Center in Canton, Ohio. As a Utilization Review Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of healthcare services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and monitor the utilization of services throughout the course of treatment for patients admitted to our inpatient programs.
  • Coordinate authorization with third-party payors to ensure seamless reimbursement.
  • Review cases for appropriateness of admission, continued stay, and discharge planning to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain effective communication systems to facilitate the exchange of information regarding treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with internal and external entities to acquire necessary resources and support.
  • Schedule Peer to Peer appointments for physicians and Certified Nurse Practitioners (CNPs) to ensure timely and effective care.
Requirements
  • Active Ohio RN, LPN, or LSW licensure is preferred but not required.
