Pay rate: $18.00 to $22.50 per hour.

Yanke Bionics, a leader in the prosthetics and orthotics industry, has several full-time openings for Patient Care Coordinators in our Canton Ohio location. The Patient Care Coordinator works to ensure a smooth and satisfactory experience for our patients If you value customer service, value continuous improvement, and want to do work that matters, we would love to talk to you about becoming a part of our team
You will perform a variety of duties that keep you busy
- Follow procedures to open and close facility for the business day.
- Provide back-up support to check in and check out staff.
- Conduct patient orientation and ensure patients needs and concerns are met.
- Complete a variety of administrative tasks such as typing, filing, office supply inventory, and mail.
- Complete check out process including scheduling follow up appointments.
- Accurately code patient encounters and correctly calculate payments per insurance.
- Act as receptionist, answer telephone, relays message and make calls.
- Print daily schedules for clinicians.
- Verify dictation is completed, signed, and dated with charge ticket codes that match the IVF.
- Effectively utilize the Medflex system for registration, overall records entries, updates, and document management throughout the patient experience process.
- Accurately verify benefits and load correct patient and insurance information for timely payment.
- Perform Medicare review and follow up calls to complete required information faxed.
- Process requests for fits and labs requests.
- Daily perform accurate and efficient charting post appointment and in preparation next day charts
- Must be able to work under pressure to meet imposed deadlines and take appropriate actions.
- Perform other duties as needed.
What you will need:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some medical coding experience preferred but will train.
- A strong work ethic, including attendance.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy.
- Proficiency with clerical skills.
- Proficiency in calculating discounts and percentages.
- Critical thinking and analytical skills, good judgment
- The ability to work with minimal supervision is required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
