We are seeking a highly skilled Registration Coordinator to join our team at United Surgical Partners International (USPI). As a Registration Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Ambulatory Surgical Facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interface with patients, families, physicians, and staff to provide exceptional customer service.
- Admit patients and process their paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
- Update patient demographics and information in our system to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Collect monies due and document in the billing system to ensure seamless financial processing.
- Handle funds per office procedure and maintain accurate records.
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
- One year of previous experience in a healthcare setting or hospital clerical experience preferred.
- Medical terminology and computer experience beneficial.
- Bilingual preferred.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
