This role will be responsible for assisting in the coordination, integration, and implementation of organization-wide performance improvement activities to ensure compliance with company policies and state/federal regulatory and accreditation standards.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the coordination and implementation of performance improvement activities to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Conduct integrity reliability reviews, medical chart reviews, and data abstraction for CMS Core Measures and other quality outcomes studies.
- Employ evidence-based practice and integrate best research with expertise and patient values for optimal care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to identify and resolve problems, contain costs, and implement new services and systems.
- Develop and implement performance measures to minimize waste, decrease errors, and increase efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with staff regarding core measures and updates on new and enhanced indicators.
- Current and valid state RN License required.
- Bachelor Degree preferred.
- Five years clinical experience in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting, including a minimum of two years of inpatient Performance Improvement/Quality Assurance experience preferred.
- Experience in reviewing charts for quality care issues.
- Detail-oriented organizational skills and ability to handle multiple cases and directions.
- Good communication skills, both verbally and written.
- Certified professional in healthcare quality preferred.
- EMR experience and computer skills required.
