Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Account Manager to join our team in New York. This is a hybrid role, requiring occasional travel to our Elevance Health locations within a 50-mile radius.

Responsibilities

  • Provides strategic planning and account management for large pharmacy accounts.
  • Directs the administration of contractual requirements and obligations.
  • Manages the new and renewal implementation process for pharmacy accounts.
  • Interfaces with operations to ensure smooth delivery of services.
  • Maintains ongoing relationships with pharmacy customers at multiple levels.
  • Makes recommendations for improvements to meet customer expectations.
  • Provides on-site and off-site customer service, including interpreting plan design, resolving claims and benefit issues.
  • Coordinates open enrollment meetings, renewal processes, and training sessions.
  • Conducts routine account visits.

Requirements

Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience managing business operations and/or customer relationships. PBM experience is strongly preferred.

  • Proven ability in collaborating with cross-functional teams and coordinating efforts.
  • Experience interacting confidently with senior management and executive-level stakeholders.
  • Excellent written, oral, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, MS Teams, CRM tools, and Salesforce.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role in New York is $68,124 to $116,784. Elevance Health offers a comprehensive benefits package, including a 401(k) + match, equity stock purchase, and paid time off. We operate in a Hybrid Workforce Strategy, requiring associates to work at an Elevance Health location at least once a week.
