Senior Automotive Service Technician

Riverside Automotive Repair and Auto Performance Napa Auto Care is looking for a dedicated Full-Time Senior Automotive Service Technician to become part of our dynamic team of skilled professionals.
Compensation ranges from $80,000 to $110,000 annually. Our work schedule is Monday through Friday, with half days on Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute tasks as specified on repair orders with precision and efficiency.
- Identify the root cause of any issues and collaborate with the parts department to procure necessary components.
- Communicate promptly with the service advisor regarding any additional work required, if any outlined work is unnecessary, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised timeframe.
- Document all work performed and recommendations on the repair order.- Conduct road tests on vehicles when necessary or refer to the designated test technician.
- Engage in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, workshops, and events.
- Oversee the work of apprentice technicians as assigned.
- Report any machinery defects or malfunctions to the supervisor.
- Ensure that customer vehicles are maintained in a clean condition.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Senior Automotive Technician or Experienced Line Technician
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Automotive Technical training or Trade School degree is highly preferred
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record
- Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills with a willingness to learn
- Proficiency in basic computer skills is essential
- Excellent customer service skills are required
- Must possess a personal set of automotive tools
- ASE Certifications are highly regarded
- Professional appearance and work ethic are essential
- Ability to produce 40 to 50 billed labor hours per week
- Service Writer skills are a plus
