Job Summary:

A skilled Registered Nurse who provides high-quality patient care in the Obstetrics department at Granville Health System.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a group of patients, providing care through the continued utilization of the nursing process in collaboration with other health team members.

The RN will be accountable for meeting the standards required by regulating agencies for managing all assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment in the unit.

The RN will process information in the Center's computer and information system as required in performing job responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with current licensure as a registered nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Minimum one year OB experience as an OB RN.
  • Fetal monitoring certification, NRP certification, and BCLS certification required.
  • STABLE certification preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of current OB trends and techniques in nursing appropriate to the practice setting.
  • Labor and Delivery experience preferred.
