As a Prepress & Variable Data Production Specialist, your responsibilities will encompass a range of tasks, including:
- Transforming customer-supplied files into print-ready formats.
- Generating proof and production print files for accurate representation.
- Developing variable data files specifically tailored for mailing campaigns and printing projects.
- Collaborating with the Client Services team to provide creative direction and support.
- Identifying and resolving file-related issues to ensure seamless production.
- Engaging in data processing activities to prepare files for printing.
- Working closely with the operations team to meet client expectations and achieve team objectives.
To excel in this position, you will need:
- 2-3 years of experience in prepress within a digital printing environment.
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience with mail processing and variable data projects.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite applications.
- Experience with data processing tools used in mail processing, such as NCOA, CASS, and mail list management software is a plus.
- A collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively within a team environment to achieve shared goals.
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with various applications for collaboration, data processing, creation, and production management.
- The ability to thrive in a process-driven environment, multitask efficiently, and prioritize tasks effectively.
