Product Transfer Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Product Transfer Specialist to join our team at LKQ Corp. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting products between locations, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining accurate records.
Job Summary
The Product Transfer Specialist will be responsible for driving a truck to transfer products between locations, wholesalers, and drop box locations in outlying markets. This will involve operating the vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to established company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the truck to transfer products between locations, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining accurate records.
- Load and unload the truck according to safety standards, verifying the condition of the truck, manifest, and other paperwork associated with the delivery.
- Drive to the destination and physically unload the truck, verifying parts unloaded and obtaining signature of receiving location confirming the accuracy of parts shown on the order and those received.
- Maintain all DOT driver logs of hours and related records, ensuring compliance with established company policies and procedures.
- Go through the check-in process when returning to the location to verify parts and paperwork.
- Turn in all paperwork to the Accounting Department after check-in, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Comply with established company policies and procedures, adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.
- Initiate and support the continual improvement of Keystone Automotive Industries' quality improvement system.
- Assume other duties as assigned, supporting the overall goals and objectives of the company.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of transportation logistics and safety protocols. You should be able to work independently, with minimal supervision, and be able to maintain accurate records and reports.
Benefits
We offer a competitive salary, ranging from $60,000 to $80,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan.
