MRI Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at OrthoIndy Hospital Northwest. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic scans for patients, following physician protocols and ensuring the highest level of patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures, positioning patients and adjusting equipment as needed.
- Screen patients, provide information relevant to the procedure, and evaluate patient condition to adequately perform MRI exams.
- Inform and explain procedures to patients, insert angiocaths, perform blood draws, and inject contrast as warranted by the exam.
- Observe vital signs of patients during scans and assist with emergent care if needed.
- Assist with daily issues related to workflow, equipment, and patient care, including quality assurance, stocking medical supplies, and maintaining cleanliness of MRI coils and scanning rooms.
- Associate's degree in a related field required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 1-2 years of MRI Technologist experience required.
- American Registry of Radiological Technologists certification required, Indiana State Radiologic Technology license required, Magnetic Resonance certification preferred.
