Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at OrthoIndy Hospital Northwest. As a key member of our Advanced Imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI scans for diagnostic purposes, working closely with physicians to ensure accurate and timely results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures, positioning patients and adjusting equipment as needed to ensure optimal image quality.
  • Screen patients, provide information relevant to the procedure, and evaluate patient condition to ensure safe and effective scanning.
  • Inform and explain procedures to patients, including any necessary blood draws or contrast injections.
  • Monitor patient vital signs during scans and assist with emergent care as needed.
  • Assist with daily issues related to workflow, equipment, and patient care, including quality assurance, supply stocking, and coil cleanliness.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in a related field (Bachelor's Degree preferred)
  • 1-2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist
  • American Registry of Radiological Technologists certification and Indiana State Radiologic Technology license required
  • Magnetic Resonance certification preferred
