MRI Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at OrthoIndy Hospital Northwest. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI scans for diagnostic purposes, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures, positioning patients and adjusting equipment as needed.
- Screen patients, provide information relevant to the procedure, and evaluate patient condition to ensure adequate performance of MRI exams.
- Inform and explain procedures to patients, insert angiocaths, perform blood draws, and inject contrast as warranted by the exam.
- Observe patient vital signs during scans and assist with emergent care if needed.
- Assist with daily issues related to workflow, equipment, and patient care, including quality assurance, supply stocking, and MRI coil cleanliness.
- Ensure patient and staff safety in the MRI room.
- Associate's Degree in a related field required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- 1-2 years of MRI Technologist experience required.
- American Registry of Radiological Technologists certification required; Indiana State Radiologic Technology license required; Magnetic Resonance certification preferred.
