Job Title: Diesel Mechanic Technician

Ryder System is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Technician to join our team in Denver, CO. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing vehicle maintenance and repair duties, ensuring our fleet of heavy-duty vehicles is in top condition.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance, including oil changes, brake and tire work
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computer tools
  • Replace defective components as instructed
  • Perform facility maintenance duties and interact with customers/drivers to determine the nature of complaints
  • Work in accordance with all federal and corporate compliance guidelines
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Vocational or technical certification, post-secondary degree, or technical certifications preferred
  • Basic tools required
  • Demonstrated aptitude and applied experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A preferred
What We Offer:
  • Average weekly pay: $1208
  • Hourly pay: $29.80 Thursday - Friday & Monday, $30.80 Saturday and Sunday only
  • Quarterly bonus: Ryder pays up to $500 every quarter - four times per year
  • Sign-on bonus: Ryder pays $1500 at 30 days and $1500 at 90 days
  • On-the-job paid training
  • PPE and uniforms issued
  • Tool and boot allowance provided
  • State-of-the-art equipment
