Key Responsibilities
  • Production Management: Manage and coordinate the activities of production employees to meet production schedules and quality standards.
  • Leadership and Supervision: Provide guidance, coaching, and training to production employees to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet the required quality standards and that any defects or issues are promptly addressed.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels and ensure that all materials and supplies are properly stored and maintained.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all safety protocols and regulatory requirements are met, and that all employees are aware of and comply with these requirements.
  • Performance Metrics: Monitor and report on key performance metrics, including production levels, quality, and employee performance.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Experience: Minimum one year of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a FDA-regulated facility.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and proficiency in computer systems and software.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk for long periods, sit, talk, and hear, and lift and move up to 20 pounds.
What We Offer

At Silgan, we offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 to $60,000, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
