Role Summary

As a Rubber Products Specialist at Applied Industrial Technologies, you will play a key role in helping our customers meet their rubber products and conveyor needs. This involves working closely with our team of Account Managers and their customers to determine their requirements and then providing solutions to meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate conveyor belt and rubber product initiatives with various Service Centers and Regional Managers
  • Develop and deliver presentations to both internal associates and customers on rubber products and conveyor belts
  • Conduct training sessions for internal associates and customers on rubber products and conveyor belts
  • Partner with field sales staff to make joint sales calls
  • Assist in the development of rubber product and conveyor belt data collection, including interchange information, case histories, and documented value-added benefits
  • Work with the team to set and meet/exceed sales target goals
  • Participate in installations and repairs

Requirements

  • 3+ years of proven technical lightweight conveyor belt sales and service experience or belt service, fabrication, installation experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Training or presentation experience a plus
