Job Summary:

Roc Nation's social justice and philanthropic division, Team Roc, is seeking candidates from across the United States to serve as Student Ambassadors for the next United Justice Coalition (UJC) Summit in New York City. As a Student Ambassador, you will play a crucial role in ensuring nationwide participation among multiple stakeholders, including students, public officials, social justice organizations, activists, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Outreach and Recruitment: Train with Team Roc on best practices for targeted outreach to educational institutions, local officials, activists, and social justice organizations in your designated state. Maintain an active list of contacts and communicate with internal and external vendors, track communications, and follow up as needed.
  • Digital Marketing and Promotions: Collaborate with the Digital Marketing team to engage with a targeted audience using official UJC marketing materials. Promote the UJC Summit on social media platforms and email listservs.
  • Content and Program Development: Assist with research on topics and speakers. Advise on content that engages student voices and participation.
  • Administration and Reporting: Provide weekly progress reports to your supervisor and support Team Roc administratively in day-to-day operations.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Must be a current student enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program at an accredited college or university.
  • Must be fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19.
  • Bilingual proficiency and/or Spanish-speaking skills are a plus.
  • Computer proficiency with MS Office products and Google Suite.
  • Experience managing and navigating social media communications.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within teams in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment.
