Position: Youth Program Coordinator

Position Overview:

  • The Youth Program Coordinator plays a vital role in enhancing the support provided to local community clubs through a dedicated grant initiative. This position encompasses a variety of responsibilities within the clubs, including but not limited to:
  • Facilitating the delivery of engaging programs, activities, and events tailored for adolescent participants.
  • Assisting in the oversight and mentorship of on-site youth staff.
  • Providing administrative assistance for the youth staff program, which includes tasks such as document organization and data management.
  • Ensuring the availability and upkeep of materials, equipment, and resources necessary for programs across different locations.
  • Offering support for special events and activities as designated by management.
  • Performing additional related tasks as directed by supervisors.

Position Qualifications:

  • Completion of required training on essential topics such as youth supervision, recognizing signs of abuse, rights of youth workers, behavioral standards, and online safety.
  • Engagement in both individual and group supervision sessions.
  • Prior experience or a strong interest in working with young individuals is preferred.
  • Familiarity with or a willingness to learn spreadsheet software.
  • Residency in the local area is a requirement.
  • Candidates must be within the age range specified for this role.
