About Us:
We are a reputable non-profit organization dedicated to providing comprehensive human services in the Northeast Region of Massachusetts. With over 50 years of experience, we have recently broadened our scope to include outpatient mental health and addiction treatment services. We are currently seeking a dedicated master's-level clinician to enhance our team.
The Intensive Outpatient Program Clinician will report directly to the Clinical Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead evidence-based therapeutic groups aimed at skill development in addiction and mental health, incorporating psychoeducation and expressive therapies.
- Conduct intake assessments to identify the appropriate level of care for clients.
- Ensure timely completion of all necessary documentation in client files, adhering to state regulations and organizational policies.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate effectively with family members, collaterals, and community support systems.
- Design and facilitate group therapy sessions.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in counseling or a related field; licensure preferred (LMHC, LMFT, LCSW, LICSW, LADC 1).
- Understanding of ASAM Dimensions.
- Experience in group facilitation or Intensive Outpatient Programs is preferred.
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Records.
- Availability for a flexible schedule, including evenings.
- Must successfully pass pre-employment screenings, including background checks and drug screening.
Work Environment:
- This role primarily operates within a clinical setting.
- Occasional responsibilities may extend outside the clinic environment.
- While some tasks are sedentary, the clinician will be required to stand and move throughout the facility.
