NFI Massachusetts, Inc. is seeking a full-time Residential Clinician for our program in Amesbury, MA.
Our program provides 24-hour support and supervision to youth in need of temporary out-of-home placement.
Comprehensive clinical services include treatment planning, life skills training, individual/group/family therapy, and access to social and recreational resources.
The highly structured milieu offers a safe and predictable context for youth to stabilize behaviors, progress in treatment, and develop new skills.
Staff members serve as teachers and coaches, developing practical supports and interventions for youth that are readily transferable to the home environment.
While our program specializes in family reunification, we also work with youth who transfer to foster care or independent living.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Clinical Director with the overall planning, implementation, and oversight of clinical services.
- Assess new referrals and arrange or conduct testing and evaluations as needed.
- Develop and/or oversee development of individual treatment plans in cooperation with program staff and other relevant service providers.
- Provide individual counseling, facilitate family meetings and home visits, and act as a liaison with psychiatrists and other agencies.
- Coordinate, facilitate, and/or participate in case conferences, treatment meetings, and clinical review meetings.
Requirements:
- Completed Master's Degree in Social Work or related field required.
- License eligible – LMHC, LICSW, or LMFT required.
- Previous experience with adolescent population and their families, and expertise in crisis stabilization and management preferred.
