Position Overview
The Clinical Manager (Registered Nurse) plays a crucial role in supporting the Director by providing leadership within the Emergency and Intensive Care Services Departments. This includes overseeing clinical, financial, and human resource functions. The Clinical Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating nursing practices in alignment with the mission of Doctors Hospital and the specific needs of the Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong critical thinking skills, technical proficiency, and a commitment to compassionate nursing care within an interdisciplinary framework. The Clinical Manager will assist in the development and evaluation of nursing staff and ensure the smooth operation of the patient care unit. Additionally, this role contributes to the hospital's mission through support of its philosophy, educational initiatives, research, and quality improvement efforts.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (B.A./B.S.)
Training: Proven ability to deliver safe and proficient nursing care across all critical care patient populations, including neonatal, pediatric, medical, surgical, correctional, and geriatric.
Licenses / Certifications: Active California Registered Nurse license, Healthcare Provider BLS, ACLS upon hire, PALS within six months of hire.
Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years in a managerial role and over 5 years of clinical experience.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities: Strong analytical and communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential. Must be capable of fulfilling the essential functions of the position.
Compensation: Pay range is $79.73 per hour, with individual wages determined by various factors including qualifications and experience.
