Job Summary

QTEC Aerospace is seeking a highly skilled Configuration Management Specialist to support the management of complex engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with reviewing program-unique specifications to ensure proper format, content, and compliance with program requirements and standards.
  • Support the configuration control function, including receipt, dissemination, processing, tracking, and final disposition of Requests for Deviation/Waiver.
  • Interface with Engineering teams to create Engineering Change Proposals, Notice of Revisions, and Engineering Release Records.
  • Perform internal Functional and Physical Configuration Audits on items as they are received and assembled.
  • Manage Contract Data Requirement Lists deliveries for DoD contracts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with at least 3+ years of configuration management experience within the Department of Defense capability delivery environment.
  • Experience in the use of CM tools to achieve effective configuration management.
  • Expertise in the delivery of configuration management documentation.
  • Extensive knowledge of ASME Y14.5 drawing standards.
  • Knowledge of Creo, SolidWorks, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project, Outlook, and Teams.
Security Clearance

Candidates must currently have and be able to maintain a minimum DoD SECRET level security clearance.
