Job Title: Configuration Management Analyst

Leidos is seeking a skilled Configuration Management Analyst to join our team in the North Alabama area. As a key member of our Configuration Management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of product design changes and their effects on the overall system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review design release documents for completeness and proper authorizations
  • Ensure configuration identification by reviewing design release documents for completeness and proper authorizations
  • Work independently on complex projects/assignments
  • Provide project support in creating/reviewing contents of CDRL's, SDRL's, item records, change records, and other items in a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system
  • Write and maintain documents such as Configuration Management plans, Project Configuration Forms, program Access Control lists, desktop instructions, CM work instructions, and audit forms
  • Oversee CM team members in producing documentation such as CSA reports and data pull outputs as required
  • Support tasks in a dynamic environment, working closely with the CM, engineering, manufacturing, quality, other teams, and the customer to support products throughout their lifecycle

Requirements:

  • BS degree from an accredited school with 4+ years of relevant CM/CA experience
  • Resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area
  • Detailed knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools (Agile PLM, Oracle Agile, PTC Windchill, Dassault, ENOVIA, Siemens Teamcenter, Aras, etc.)
  • Detailed knowledge of bill of materials, technical documents, product drawings, schematics, diagrams, and specifications
  • Detailed knowledge of and ability to apply standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques of technical domain and has a broad understanding of other related specialty areas
  • Detailed knowledge and experience in configuration change management principles and record types
  • Proficient in Microsoft office products (primarily Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Visio experience is a plus)
  • Proficient in Adobe PDF editing software or equivalent
  • Capable of performing in a collaborative engineering environment working closely with multi-disciplinary teams and customer representatives
  • Good organizational skills and detail-oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • US citizen and able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current or previous engineering/design experience, manufacturing engineering experience, or supply chain management experience
  • Space flight equipment and processes
  • Working knowledge of Computer Aided Design (CAD) software such as CREO, Solidworks, etc.
  • Working knowledge of Product Data Management (PDM) systems such as Windchill, Solidworks PDM Pro, etc.
  • Microsoft SharePoint collaboration software

Pay Range: $68,900.00 - $124,550.00
